Is Your Vendor Supported?

This is a conversation to initiate with the vendor. Following is a list of things to consider:

▪The vendor will need to send the stock feed via email.

▪The preferred format for the feed is .xml. Using .xml as the feed format is more flexible in terms of optional fields such as stock on hand quantities for multiple warehouses etc. If the vendor can send the feed in the .xml structure supported by Jim2, set up the processing using the Jim2 Configuration Manager. The .xml schema for the .xml structure is available from Happen Business for the technically minded and/or those creating a stock feed. Contact support@happen.biz for more information.

▪If the vendor already has an .xml structure, and won't send a feed in the Jim2 structure, Happen Business can implement a transformation (or mapping) between the vendor's .xml structure and the Jim2 structure. Contact Happen Business for any costs and time involved. Once this transformation is delivered, select it when setting up the stock feed for the vendor.

▪Jim2 also supports stock feeds in .CSV format. If the vendor can send the feed in the Generic CSV format, set up the feed using the Jim2 Configuration Manager.

▪If the vendor will send a .CSV format stock feed that is different to the Jim2 generic format, a mapping must be implemented. Contact Happen Business for any costs and time involved. Once the mapping is delivered, select this mapping when setting up the stock feed for the vendor.
