It is highly recommended that Jes be installed on the same machine as Jim2 Server, ie. the machine on which the Jim2 Database is located.

Use the Jes Configuration Manager to create Jes instances (each Jes instance corresponds to a single Jim2 database) and to configure each instance.
Jes runs as a Windows service. The service can be managed using the Services control panel applet, the net start or the sc commands, or using the Jim2 Configuration Manager. |
