This area only relates to passwords and strengths. Passwords can be required to be changed after a specific amount of time as per the options above. You can set an expiry time limit on passwords or allow them to never expire.
You can also set password strength, ie. minimum length, and specify use of a mix of upper and lower case, etc.
On the ribbon, go to Tools > Options > Company > Security.
