From an accounting point of view, use the Cost field to enter the cost of this internal stock. The following example will use meal allowances.
This field is used to nominate the actual cost of the meal allowance.
Example
Stock code – MEALS
In this instance, the cost of the meal is $25.00.
When adding this stock to a job, the amount will be added to the Cost tab of the job, showing the price charged and markup percentage.
This breakdown won't appear on the Job Profit report, however.
