The following actions are now available to schedule as a batch job to be run across multiple devices:

Restart Device – Schedule a remote reboot of each selected device.

Check/Update Device Firmware – Update to the latest available firmware for each device.

Assess Only option: Report on whether the current firmware version for each device is the latest available, without performing any updates.

Check JAMC Has Correct Credentials – Assess whether the HP JAMC has the necessary credentials (SNMP, EWS Admin login) to communicate with each device.

Update JAMC Credentials – Set the EWS Admin or SNMP credentials the JAMC will use to communicate with each device.

Check and Configure Device – Set a selection of configuration settings for each selected device.

Assess Only option: Report whether device settings match the specified settings, without updating any settings on the devices.

Configure Device Message – Set the same welcome screen message across all selected devices, or disable any existing welcome screen message.

Configure Report A Problem App – Enable or disable the SDS Report A Problem application on all selected devices.

To access these options, use the checkboxes to select one or more HP devices from any device list table and click the HP SDS Actions button in the table footer.

Applying any of these actions places the job into a queue for background processing. The status of pending, executing and completed batch jobs can be viewed using the Asset Management > Bulk HP SDS Actions menu.

Improved Bulk HP SDS Action Results

The display of Bulk HP SDS Actions batch results has been reworked, making it easier to view overall details of the requested actions and their status across multiple devices, including drilling down into individual device results.
