The transaction journal has a number of filters in the top section of the screen. There is a slight difference between the All tab and the other tabs – the All tab is the only place where the Document# filter field is available.
The filters fields are explained below:

Dates |
Allows selection of to and from dates, including document date and transaction date (which can be different). |
Period |
Date Range: Select a period to view. The date range drop-down options offer selections of today, yesterday, this week, last week, etc. |
Document# (All tab only) |
Select a document type, then enter the document Ref# number into the Ref# field.
 |
13th period only |
Tick if you only wish to see transactions during the 13th period. See below for more information. |

You can see all transactions posted into 13th Period from the transaction journal on a month-by-month basis:
Select Period, required month, tick 13th period only, click Run.
There is also a tick box relating to whether you want to display transactions where the transaction date does not match the document date.
Tran date <> Document date
This means that any transactions where the transaction date does not match the document date will show in blue.
