If this message pops up on the bottom right of screen, it is indicating that the workstation is using an old version of the Microsoft SQL Client, and should be updated.

You may also receive a warning that support for SQL 2012 and 2014 will cease.

 

Please update the SQL Client using the following:

The SQL recommended driver is the ODBC Driver version 18, available here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/connect/odbc/download-odbc-driver-for-sql-server?view=sql-server-ver18  (copy and paste into a browser).

 

If you receive the following message, this refers to the Jim2 Server itself. This message will pop up because you are running Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and it is advisable to upgrade to a higher level as SQL Server 2016 and 2017 are no longer supported by Microsoft.
