When adding a new child contract to an existing master contract, a contract start read and a reason must be provided.
▪Added – Select this option when a new device is being added to an existing contract. ▪Replacement – Select this option when a new device is replacing an existing contract.
Once the variation has been created, the First Bill Date and First Bill Reason will automatically populate in the Linked Contract tab of the master contract, reflecting the information entered in the variation.
