When creating a quote, you can add freight charges directly into the Freight field on the Invoice Details tab.
This method ensures that the freight amount is appropriately included in the Totals section of the quote report.
If a job is subsequently created from the quote, the freight amount entered will carry over to the job. The image below is the sales job that was produced using Create Job on the quote.
Upon invoicing the job, the freight charge will appear in the freight field on the invoice.
This approach eliminates the need to add a separate stock code for freight, streamlining the process.
