Alerts should be checked if the Reseller deems it necessary. These can be viewed from the dashboard or the Incident Management area under Current Device Alerts.
Alerts to be monitored would be:

▪System Failures
▪System Warnings
For Jim2 users, consumable requests will be processed via API into Jim2.

Note: Consumable requests are EKM calculations based on MIB report consumable levels. Alerts in EKM are not consumable requests. Rather, they are EKM passing on detail the actual machine is displaying as an alert.
A machine may produce a consumable low alert at 20% and still have more than 7 days remaining as calculated by EKM consumable management. Therefore, a request will not be processed. |
