Log off allows for quick log off when switching between users, changing databases or leaving the workstation.

If any object is in Edit mode Jim2 cannot be logged off.

Quick Add CardFile opens up the Quick Add CardFile form, as shown below.

Transfer From List allows transfer of the currently active object out of a list into the root of the Nav Tree. This keeps the object in the Nav Tree after closing the list.

Refresh activates a system refresh. Especially useful after making changes to Options and Setups (although there are times where log off and back on is required with some settings).
|
|
History will be displayed in the Nav Tree under Tools upon selection, allowing to switch between the History view and other objects within the Nav Tree. This offers searching by object, user, date ranges, last 1000, etc. Additionally, History logs events such as trackable reports, and allows easy access to Jim2 objects. History about the last modifications to an object can be found here if information has been entered into the Comment grid of the object, as well as recently logged on users.
Users can be restricted from viewing history via Security.

Calculator activates the calculator. If the calculator is open when the cursor is in a numeric data field (eg. the purchase order price field), it allows the result of the calculation to be entered into that field by clicking Accept.

Add Schedule Task launches a specific type of task from the New Schedule Task screen. There are four types of system tasks that can be chosen:

Add To-Do Task launches a To-Do task from the New Schedule Task screen.

Add Document from Clipboard will bring up the Add Document screen to allow the addition of a document from the clipboard.

Switch Windows switches to another currently open object, or displays all open objects, including schedule reminders and emails.
|

Next/Previous Object: within an object that is open from a list (job, purchase, document, stock, project or quote list), these two arrows become active to scroll through to the next/previous object within the list.
Shortcut keys can also be used:
Ctrl+. moves to the next object in the list
Ctrl+, Moves to the previous object in the list

When working through a list, when you make changes to an object and click Save, selecting the down arrow will close the current object and take you to the next in the list.

Search Ribbon field: start entering text into this field and Jim2 will bring up anything within the ribbon that relates – another way to find things on the ribbon quickly. Keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+L.
