A docket job might be used in a scenario where you are running an internal job to track non-billable time, eg. cleaning the workshop or warehouse, or doing some maintenance.



A docket job does not post to any general ledger account.


Staff can log non-productive time against the job, and you then docket the job at the end of the month, rather than invoicing it.



The resulting invoice number will have a minus sign (-) in front of the invoice number, ie. -102.
